Buying a Vaporizer?

Posted in General E-Smoking Discussion by janty on the October 31st, 2008

Has any body tried a Vaporizer for smoking on this forum?|||Not quite sure what you are refering to. I do however have an old nebulizer that my son used to use when he was very little, I’m going to pull that out of the closet and see if I can’t somehow use it to smoke the . The may be a bit too viscous for the machine and I might break it, but I figure it’s just collecting dust anyway.||| |||I have, and I would not reccomend it for tobacco. It’s inconvenient and messy. but if you want a good vaporizer, I’d reccomend the HerbalAire. http://greatvape.com/items/vaporizers/h … detail.htm. Half the price of a volcano, and out performs it. And you can get a free VaporGenie portable vaporizer. 8-)|||wow those are really expensive|||The one that I’m going to get is the Vapolution vaporizer at http://www.vapolution.com/
It’s glass on glass (glass heating element and glass bowl).
It’s also fairly inexpensive at $150.

It’ll probably be a few months before I actually get it though.

I’ve been wanting to get one for a long time…||| |||That would be one of the reasons I would get it.

Pipe tobacco works really well in them too.||| |||Sure. And you can shoot a squirrell with an RPG, too.

Herbal vaporizers heat things to anywhere from 200f to 500f in oprder to extract the active chemicals from the plant material. A bit of overkill for vaporizing a liquid.Yes you can get attachments that vaporize oils which would work fine.

Also, most if not all vaporizers are adjustable… So you can have them heat as much or as little as you want. You turn the heat up just enough until what you put in it starts to vaporize.

I agree that it would be overkill to buy one specifically for e-smoking though.
But it is an option!
