Anyone try the E-Pack from e-cig.com?
Hi all. I’m new to the world of e-cigarettes and have been doing my research on the different products out there. I’m interested in going with a mini and/or super-mini, something as close to a regular king size cigarette as possible. Has anyone tried the E-Pack from e-cigs.com yet? They say its 85mm without the cartridge, 95mm with.|||I don’t have any experience with it, but the impression I get is that the main pack is a battery, that recharges the smaller cigarette-sized batteries. Recharging one battery with another battery seems like a unnecessary and complicated step, and I don’t know how well that will work. I’ve used the rechargers for cell phones and gameboy batteries that use regular AAs, and rechargable battery packs and they have a very limited lifespan.|||There was a thread on this but I can’t find it. I hope it wasn’t deleted. Anyway, I did read that thread and the common opinion was NOT favorable.
I’m sorry.|||I bought it. The charge part works. Not so sure about the recharge, since the cig didn’t work.|||the idea is sound.. i feel they have made it too small thow.. the 120 mah all in one cig part will be expensive to replace when it wears out..
i would wait for the mark two version..
trog|||Personally I would avoid buying anything from e-cig.com.
Their products do not hold up, most of the time they do not work when you first receive them.
And if you’re lucky they will work for a week, and then crash and burn.
Their customer service is terrible.
If you e-mail them and tell them of the problem, then, if you’re lucky you get an e-mail back, ignoring the problem you have, all they do is refer you to their "problem solving page".
There are sellers on e-bay now.
Be careful ordering directly from China.
I ordered and this morning I received an email that it will take up to a month for me to receive my order because customs in China are inspecting packages very careful because of the Olympic games.
There are companies who distribute e-cig in the USA now, njoy is one of them, also one poster here sells them.
There’s a list here somewhere, that Smokey Joe posted.
general-list-of-suppliers-t5.html
Hope this helps.|||From personal experience and reading the numerous angry posts on E-Cig’s forum — do not go there. Just remove E-Cig from your list of e-device suppliers. You will pay with far more than your currency if you continue to order their products. If you have any doubts about those of us who bash E-Cig, spend some time reading their own forum — and know that many angry posts (mine included) were removed and the poster banned (I was).|||they have to be given credit for having a public forum.. not many sellers would dare.. so far they havnt banned me.. as u can imagine i havnt been entirely complimentary.. i dont like buying from china period.. but then again i dont like paying 350 dollars for a ruyan e pipe which also comes from china and even if ordered from the american ruyan recommended seller is to special order and takes a quoted month for delivery..
imagine selling to the world.. speaking chinese when the world dosnt.. perhaps if we took the trouble to communicate with them in their own language we might get better results.. he he he
why do i stand up for em.. dunno.. but i think they are "trying" and i dont expect good after sales service from a bunch of chinese speaking dudes on the far side of the planet selling what in essence is an unreliable disposable cheap product..
but buy locally if u can.. it is worth paying a little more for.. but not five or six times the price..
trog
ps..in fact they even sent me a 20 dollar voucher for my contribution to their forum.. so being as i am now on the payroll.. ignore anything nice i say about em.. he he he|||Altho I have much more to say, I’ll stand by what’s posted and shut up. Defend ‘em all you want …|||With all due respect trogg, I understand what you’re saying. You don’t have the cashflow to put out there for the more expensive ones and I can respect that one. Neither do I.
But after buying non-working stuff from e-cig.com, I’m throwing money down the drain 30 to 50 bucks at a time and it’s adding up to what I could have spent on a better model with better customer service.
I’ve been doing the math on all of my non-working stuff plus the shipping and it’s not worth it. I ACTUALLY come out cheaper for better models. And with Jane and Njoy, I’ve been getting pretty darned good customer service. And I hear that Janty is awesome on customer service as well. That’s where I’m going to keep my dollars going. Where I know that I’m treated right and my stuff is gonna work.
Absolutley, and I would add Meltrix to that list.As of right now there is nothing to suggest that the Kissbox will be reliable. They have only been out a couple of weeks. I understand they are working well right now, but don’t say it is the best out there until it has been out longer.
