I broke down and read the english manual. Most of it is idiot-proof.

Then there is this line. I know we’ve been through this before…but those of you who have already dealt with the Kiss, Do I or Don’t I? What is your FINAL answer?

|||You should only need to charge the battery for 5 hours the first time if it’s a lithium ion.
You should only need to charge the battery for 4 hours to fill it up normally. It’s recommended to let it charge a 5th hour every 20 days or so, which is called a "Top off" charge.

It is bad for your batteries to be used beyond a certain point. A lot of lithium batteries also have an under-charge cut off point. So they stop working completely after the voltage goes below a certain point. (I think Janty was talking about this too on their kissboxes you will never have a weak battery. It either works well or doesn’t work at all)
So you probably don’t want to drain them too much…
