e cig - Replacing the battery on the mini e cigarette
Battery Test 1 pt2
Sedansa Video Review and Demo, using my standardized ratings system.

|||Hey great review. Looks like a good cig.
Too bad about the long time between drags. Is the wait less if you don’t drag for the max time (5 seconds?)? What happens if you take two short drags instead?
I like the bluish color. Very cool.
What color is the LED? It didn’t look the normal red/orange.
Great vid.|||Great video, leaford! Thanks!
I really like the green light……it doesn’t look so much like a real cigarette.
|||Thanks for the video.
I personally would not like a e-cig to dictates to me when I can draw on it.
I think one of the reasons the battery last longer is because you can’t drag on it all the time.
I would like to know a month or 3 months from now how long you can use the battery without charging.
I also want to add that it’s pricey!!! To say the least.
I know you have the classic KISS also.
How do those two compair?||| ||| |||wow great review using a great format…. just a suggestion… you may like to indicate how many days have you used the product upon arrival, intensity of usage so that others can even better relate to your review…..
and hopefully there can be follow-up reviews after maybe 1 week, 2 weeks 4 weeks e.t.c. if you can afford the time…
and thanks a lot for this review…|||Great work Leaford, looks like there might be another raid on the bank! I have some experience with Sedansa (Nano v2) and it’s a very good example of the Super Mini style. I have also had some post-sales customer service experience. One of the batteries failed and they sent a replacement without asking for the duff one to be returned first (it’s now in my e-cig graveyard). Their shipping times to UK are broadly comparable to your experience. The initial delivery and battery replacement took about 7 days. All in all I’m very satisfied with this company.
Emp|||That’s sure good to hear, thanks Emp!
|||BTW; I just found out that an Njoy style battery will work on the Sedansa atomizer, but not vice versa. I have added that to the interchangeability info above.I was looking into these a couple of months ago and convinced myself that I should wait. I have already spent enough money. Now after leadford’s review, I keep going back to look. Thanks leaford.Love the avatar - Santa Claus for grown-ups!
the line is the reverse of my parents’ mantra when they caught me doing something I shouldn’t: It’s not big and it’s not clever.
There was a craze here for putting joke stickers over the health warnings on fag packets fakefags - we sell fag stickers, smoking stickers to cover up the health warnings on UK cigarette packets, fake fags cigarette stickers and the big/clever gag turned up there.
sheesh - caught ripping off a bad joke…
EmpNice review

Preventing issues with computer and electrical system when changing battery on a BMW X5?
If I am taking the old dead battery out and want to keep the electrical system from going dead is it recommended to attach a 12 volt battery charger to the terminals under the hood/

No!! This may instead CAUSE problems!! You can buy a little thing that plugs into cigarette lighter (think it is called a memory preserver - or somehting like that)- which has a "dry battery" inside it, and that will keep the memory in radio in effect, - I don't know if you have one of those "sophsiticated theft prevention/alarm units" In car though!— Some are set up to "shut car down" when you interrupt electrical system — (IE: it thinks you are trying to steal your car!) Check and see first, - you will want to find out how to "turn it back on" so you are ready,– if it quits!
Is the battery really "dead_,- or just won't start car? Might be good idea to check and see if the charging system is working properly first (lots of people change battery, then find out that they have bad charging system instead)! And if battery is acutally "stone dead" you may already have lost all "memory functions" anyway!! Like from leaving headlights on all night (or all day)!
You could also try using a "jumper from one car to another" that plugs into cigarette lighter — or jumper cables (hooked up so that they were'nt in your way) when taking off the battery terminals. Like a good ground on engine or frame somewhere , and positive cable hooked on positive cable (somewhere else than terminal itself if possible). Bear in mind though that you want to make sure that you don't ground the positive cable though, - as it is now "hot"!! Take a piece of clothing or newspaper to lay cable on so that it can't get near metal anywhere on body!
……..
I have started cars with a "good battery ,and switched the "dead battery back" into car by using jumpers from one to other. You just hook cables onto the terminals of car (battery is going to), and then put connectors on "dead battery" in car it is coming out of, — battery then removed from "running car",- and set on ground (insulating positive cable of course)! Then the other battery is set in place, and engine revevd up just a little with throttle from outside- quickly take hand off throttle, drop clamp, and slip ternminal on battery ,- (as engine is slowing down!), do same with other side of battery, and "button things up" . Drop "good battery in other car and you are all done! This works well when it is 30 or 40 below zero, and battery is too low to start car, — Booster cables are not heavy enough to carry enough power to battery to make engine turn over (able to carry maybe 30-40 amps,– engine wanting 450 amps or better to turn over because of cold)! You then either have wait for half an hour or more with engine running on "booster car" to charge the battery up enough that the two of them together can provide enough power to start car, or swap battery from running car (hot swap also) to "dead car, and use boosters to "add power to a good battery"– when dead car runing, then you can shut off the "booster car, "hot swap" old battery" back into that car which is now running, — the good battery will then start the "booster car,- and you are on your way! Sounds complicated, but not, –just explaining it is!
By the way don't buy the idea tha you can check charging system by removing battery cable and seeing if engine keeps running, - this does not always prove anything,- (some will not run even when charging system is good)! It also may damage electronic stuff in car if it is much more than "slow idle"! The shorter the interrruption and the slower the engine running the better!

Can you plug an inverter into a splitter or will this overload your cig lighter outlet in your car?
I am going on a lengthy road trip this summer. I want to take my lap top so I can do my work part-time while i am on the road, and my friend is driving. We also have ipods, cell phone chargers, etc to use in the car.
I've been looking at inverters for my laptop. Now my friend mentions we should get a splitter for the cig lighter outlet and then plug the inverter into that. Anyone know if this will be ok?
Mainly I'm worried about burning up my alternator/battery and/or my electronical devices. How much wattage can a cig lighter deal with?

Usually they will handle 5 amps which is 12 x 5 = 60 watts. They have a 5 amp fuse, so you won't overload anything. You may be able to get a bigger amperage one as I think most cigarette lighter outlets will handle 10 amps = 120 amps. Check with your local electronic store. They will be able to advise you.

Leaford
Well, here’s the first part, the introduction, to my Video Demo of Johnson’s Creek Smoke Juice.
I am using my last black 901b atomizer, so I hope y’all appreciate it.
This first part just demonstrates the performance of a brand new 901b atomizer.
The second part will be a series of clips from throughtout a day or so, showing how the performance degrades (or doesn’t, if it surprises me) after using the JC SJ.
| YouTube - Johnsons Creek Smoke Juice Video Demo and Review PART 1 | |
|||Leaford, have you tried running hte juice through a double coffee filter? Maybe that might help a bit? Perhaps not- just a htought - also, the trend in esmoking seems ot be movign toward disposable atomizer/cartridge units, so even if we can’t refine hte juice any further, the juice I think will work quite well in disposables which I can personally testify to- There’s no reason to give up on JC juice just yet- Especially if ECigg is selling the loong- or a clone at such innexpensive prices- For htose that enjoy the JC flavors liek I do, I thin we’ll still be able ot enjoy it with disposable atomizers
JC been takign an awful beating here o n the forums lately, but there’s hope yet, and he might yet refine it to be able to be used in traditional penstyles/minis too- let’s hope as his flavors are outstanding (if not a little weak though)|||Naz…
Disposable or not, do you still want to inhale all the sediment/oils/etc… in the liquid?
EDIT: Mind you, I am playing the Devil’s advocate. I’m neither for or against the use of JC Juice, simply an observer
|||Meh- what little gets inhaled would be cuaghed out and I’m guessing that hte ingredients are all pretty innocuous? Especially compared to the 4000 or so chemicals in real ciggs- also, the sediments will be caught in the filter mostly I’m guessing. I didn’t see where JC uses oils?
I’m wonderign though just what hte sediments are from? Homebrew by leachign tobacco with PG doesn’t produce sediments? What additions could be cuasing sediments in JC? Would be nice to have Mac state for us|||Well, for one, I don’t think I should have to be doing his filtering for him, and for another, I doubt anything I could do at home would be more effective than his professional centrifugal filtering.
But besides, the new filtered stuff has very little sediment, and no cloudiness or oily film, so I don’t think it’s either oil or particulates causing the problem. I could be wrong, of course.
As to using it in a disposable, that might be an option, but at the moment I’m not using disposables, nor are most people. So that’s kind of irrelevent. Plus, the disposables aren’t designed to be refilled anyway, so it’s again irrelevent to what most people will be doing with it.
No, this is intended to be used to fill cartridges in our current crop of e-cigs, and it’s been causing problems when used as intended. Which is all I’m trying to document.
I am sorry Christian is "taking a beating" but sharing problems and issues with suppliers and manufacturers is the best public service boards like this can do. I think I am being very fair by pointing out what I like as well as what I don’t like about it.
Additionally, I am using the latest filtered batch, and being VERY careful to not shake it up, and to only draw from the top of the bottle and avoid the sediment, to give it the best chance possible. And who knows, maybe doing it this way it’ll surprise me and not cause a problem.||| |||I cleaned one out which had dropped below a 2 out of 5 on both vapor production and draw, and got it back to a 4 on draw, and 3 or so on vapor. It’s in my just-in-case-all-else-fails drawer.
BUt that took a through cleaning, running it under scalding tap water, shaking the water inside the barrell, blowing HARD through both ends, and repeating several times. But after just over a day, that shouldn’t have been necessary.|||assemble everything (without a cartridge) just the battery and atomizer, and try blowing htrough hte battery end for those in that drawer- this will initiate a burning off of hte crud, but you will get soem burnt taste, so go slow with it at first- see if this brings the worst atomizers back to life- I’ve had it work on a few (but had to put up with hte bad taste for an hour or so)|||Thanks for the Sacrifice Leaford.
I am waiting to see your results.
On a side note, I think it was your videos that first directed me here
|||Thanks, Magus. I’ve been off the horse on the videos for a while, but I’m getting back up now.oh no!! look what i did! Im making someone send a 901 atomizer to an early grave. Im going to hell with gasoline drawers on!leaford, thank you for your reviews they are enlightening. I noticed on your first video in this series that really the vapor was not great even with new battery and atomizer. I was sitting here puffing my generic 901, with a regular cartridge, getting twice as much vapor with a regular cartridge. Maybe its because I don’t inhale as deeply as you, so more vapor comes out of me lol. I too would be willing to replace an atomizer for you in appreciation of these valuable reviews.

cheap easy way to steam clean
today i steam cleaned my janty kissbox atomizer and oh my it worked a dream. Let me tell you how i did this.
first i boiled the kettle
then i poured into a saucepan and found one of those lids with a small hole on the top which lets the steam out
i waited till it started to boil and lots of steam spat out the hole
i then got some tweezers and held my atomizer above it cart side down and then bat side for about 2 or 3 mins.
i blew excess water out of it from the battery side (beware leave to cool for 3 mins as very hot) and then left it to dry for a few mins.
put a few drops directly onto the atomizer and now it works like a dream! was shocked by the results:> went from bad tasting to delicous coffee. try at your own risk, but let me know how tings go for you. Cheers guys|||That sounds like an excellent idea. My question is how often does someone have to clean the attomizer?|||Depends how you use it, and When it needs it.
Some may be a day or a week, depending how much you use it, or how its used.
If the performance goes down, and everything else seems fine, then, youll know when
