Solution to Janty burnt taste???

Posted in General E-Smoking Discussion by atomizer on the November 4th, 2008

Hi everyone.

Every now and then people complain about taste in their e-cigs. I stumbled on to something that might explain it but I don’t know how.

I own BOTH classic and . I never experience burnt taste using the classic but often using the .

Using the same I used first:

a) the classic
and then
b) the the manual switch

Using the SAME and SAME cartridge I get and awful burnt taste using "b" but absolutely no burnt taste using "a"!

Can anyone understand why this is so?|||Both batteries full or equally charged?||| |||Just a wild guess, but that sounds like the delivers more electric current to the . Automatic batteries have a transistor which supplies/limits the current to . I wonder if the manual switch is also connected to a transistor or if the manual switch is direct connected. If it is direct wired you can bbq you mice spareribs on it. I would think the manual switch uses a transistor to, but the transistor might be different then the one in the classic batterie.|||Hi Shogun, look what I found on the USA page, that might be an indicator for different eletric currents:

CLASSIC BATTERIES

聶 CLASSIC BATTERIES (not compatible with the CLASSIC)

$17.95||| |||True! Since the is the same, guess I smoked to much . :-)

Anyway, the combination seems to give you a higher electric current.

Is it a new or well used?|||I have a classic and am having trouble getting a good taste and vapour. It’s partly because I’m not used to it and is important with these I think.

I’ve found that I have to drip and keep the cartridge topped up to get good vapour but the atomiser then seems to cook the liquid and it tastes harsh and a bit burned. When the atomiser is a bit dryer I get wispy vapour but it’s less harsh. To get vapour I press the manual switch for a second before drawing but unless the atomiser is pretty wet (flooded really) it still produces wispy vapour and the atomiser gets very hot. I’m not getting good flavour with my , it’s cooking or .

I’m still working on it. I think it’s something to do with getting the switch timing right and the correct moisture levels in the atomiser … unless it’s a dodgy atomiser.||| ||| Kate,i dont think it should be that way…if i were you,id contact for a new one. I don’t know why the empty cartridge works better than the mouthpiece alone, maybe something to do with restricting airflow.

Copied this from a post of mine on another thread:

If you wanted to get a bling you can get the atomiser and LED cap from Wayne direct for $31 USD including UK postage - heaven_gifts@yahoo.com.cn I don’t know how much he charges for cartridges.

You would also need a charger $12.58 (the ones that come with the bling kits aren’t great) and batteries $4.32 - DealExtreme: $12.58 Ultra Fire 10440 14500 Ac Charger
DealExtreme: $4.32 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack

So apart from cartridges you could have a decent bling setup including postage for $47.90/拢26.06. You might also want to get extra batteries though.

My bling gives good vapour and tastes great with and diy , I don’t like the cartridge taste. It’s great value for money in my opinion but it is chunkier than an ecig and is covered with advertising (although it’s in Chinese and looks a bit arty). They are 14.5 cm long and 1.2cm wide.

You can see the blings here at Wayne’s shop - eBay Store - : Genunie : e-
