Ruyan Vegas update
Well, I’ve had it for a week and I can say that I really like it. Consistent smoke ,taste and smell. I’ve been smoking it mostly cigar style, because it has to much nicotine for me, and I think that speaks of the good quality of the taste.
It’s expensive and I really hope they can lower the price a little so I can keep smoking them. But my other cigs , Njoy and a super mini have been expensive too, since after less than 2 months of use they are barely functioning.
That makes me think that in fact all e cigs are disposable.Batteries may last a week or a few months, atomizers same thing and cartridges are of course replaceable.
Expensive or not , I really recommend the ruyan vegas.|||If it’s not working after only two months, e-mail Mark and ask for a replacement. It’s supposed to last longer than that. You paid too much to just give up on it. I’m sure Mark will be happy to send one out to you.|||Boy, would I ever like to be able to afford those. I love the looks and your review makes it even more attractive. I would use nothing but this if the price was right. Talk about trend-setting style. This defines it. Get one to Arnold, Ruyan!! Put e-smoking on the map with the most popular governor in the U.S.||| |||Presumably they also have a guarantee from the actual manufacturer against defects in workmanship.|||Can anyone say fantastic profit margin? We’ve had educated guesses here on the forum that an e-cig probably costs $5 or less to make. Add all admin, research, marketing, whatever costs and you get a $10 device .. that sells for $100 or more. And how many buyers "bin" failed products like Trog, instead of screaming to high heaven that they want the faulty things replaced NOW. Many people just take it. Live and learn, they say. So the profits here have to be staggering, even taking into account replacing the failed parts for the few who do complain. Don’t you think failure replacement is built into the sales price?|||Yeah, I guess I can live with that TB.
Also they know their customers - addicted suckers!?|||I can too. And I think if these things don’t get caught up in controversy, that we’ll see a price war set in before too long. We can see from the original patents where these are going. You are going to have cheap junk like we have now and you are going to have costly pieces with true high tech, using misters and pumps and dial-up-your-own nicotine dose.
The upcoming war will see e-cigs at $10 and e-cigs at $350.
And disposables will carve out their own market if mass production takes hold and prices come WAY down.
I want that Ruyan Vegas. Remember the line about what America needs is a good 5-cent cigar? What I need is a good $5 disposable cigar.|||

Hey, has anyone brought up the possibility of putting a real microchip in the mechanism to control things?|||lets be right here bob.. i would not just bin a 100 dollar e cig.. but then again i aint daft enough to pay that much in the first place for a five dollar item.. i pay 10 dollars (that allows em a reasonable mark up) and cuts the b-llsh-t..
trog
ps.. there is one nerdy.. it controls the flashing lights.. he he heAnyone ever thought of this?
They make crappy e-cigs for a few years. They get people used to paying cheap prices for stuff that constantly breaks.
Then after the word is out and they have a good following of hooked e-smokers… They come out with THE e-smoking device that kills all others. Cartridges that last as long as 100 cigarettes. Atomizers with 5-10 year life expectancy… $550.00 US for the basic model. muahahaha
Anyone actually read over the patent for e-cigarettes? What they’re describing in the patent sounds nothing like the e-cigs that are out now. I think it even said something about a LCD screen that would serve as battery indicator.
