Malaysia First NJOY Roadshow
Just want to let you all know..due to persistent and continuous demands and public curiosity we will be conducting our first Malaysian Roadshow At a shopping Mall in KL (Ampang Point)today 17/May/2008 from 10am till 10pm….for at least 2 to 3 days(or even longer).
This will be our first introduction to the general public..no longer under the radar…full technical and full support team will be on the floor to provide hands on experience and public education…HOPE it will wake up the public about this new Revolution in smoking…I’m doing the best I can to enhance and educate the public and we will videotaped this event and hopefully gauge the crowd reactions and comments(hopefully in English too
) and will post it on this forum and youtube if possible….
Wish us luck..we will need it…|||Alle the very best Doc, I hope you get a good turnout. You are at the forefront of this new revolution and I hope that many other doctors will follow suit. Thanks for sharing all your experiences with us.||| |||Be sure to notify any local news media — whether print or broadcast. Let them help spread the word of your initiative.||| |||Our lawsuits take a loooooong time to get through the courts in America. A summary judgment against Njoy would be a blow, but if this goes before a judge, the suit could be drawn out. My fear is that Njoy KNOWS it violated patents. If that’s the case, the damage judgment will only increase unless Njoy ceases sales now. So far, that hasn’t happened. Maybe Njoy intends a prolonged fight.
The other consideration is that large companies sometimes sue small companies to force them out of business. A small company cannot afford an extended legal bill to fight a lawsuit. Njoy is small. Golden Dragon, which owns Ruyan, is BIG. Can Njoy’s investors afford the costs of a prolonged court case? We can only watch this one and wait.|||Just what we need, the e-cig manufacturers and sellers fighting amongst themselves… while they should be fighting together, against the anti-forces. I did know it was coming though: Ruyan allready said half year back or so that they would be suing others somewhere along the way.
Do like that ‘roadshow’ in your mall Jim. Good to hear it seems to be working out well; hope it makes the news in many places around you
|||Don’t know the specifics of the patent infringement charge, but Ruyan is only asking $75,000 in damages from Njoy. That’s a drop in the business bucket. Njoy should pay up and get on with providing good products and customer service, after squaring with Ruyan, of course.|||Very mysterious……$75k is barely a slap on the wrist. The lawsuit would probably cost that much.
The other thing is that Ruyan America has barely gotten off the ground in the States and they are already filing a lawsuit. The product is only availble through Sundridge Distribution on the web, and the black/white V8 is the only e-cigarette available….and the one I received seems to be an older model. It is quite a bit bigger and heavier than my other V8. It’s not nearly as sleek and does not work as well.
Something is wrong with this picture.
|||75k slap on my wrist would put me out on the street.
I agree with what your saying..pay and move on.. if indeed there is infringementHey Jim, great news!
Good luck and keep us posted won’t you? I’d love to see some photos too!
