Cleaning Atomizer with Mouthwash
Tried using denture cleanser and it stripped the paint off my Janty. In keeping with the oral hygiene theme I decided to try mouthwash.
Three days ago I cleaned my atomizer with mouthwash. I immersed it in mouthwash and blew the mouthwash through the atomizer several times. To dry it I twisted a piece of tissue paper and inserted it into the atomizer to soak up excess moisture, then dryed the outside. Juiced it up and and gave it a draw. Took a couple of draws to get good smoke because some of the mouthwash was still in the atomizer. I did not allow any time to dry. It worked. Best of all, any residual mouthwash tastes minty fresh when smoked. As the days went by it started smoking better and better and is now working good as new. My favorite atomizer, which I almost threw away twice, is now my best smoker again.
I tried several other methods to clean this atomizer including boiling water, water and vinegar, and Polident with mixed success. It would crap out again in no time. Any cheap mouthwash with alcohol as an ingredient will do.
Thanks
Brian|||thanks for the info brian.
i don’t clean my atomizers anymore ( killed two trying ) but if i try again i’ll use your method|||wonder if it is the alcohol that is doing the magic and not the other chemicals. wonder if non alcoholic versions would do. im kind of weary of the other chems. might be a potential health hazard. might try this though. anyone want to swop a top o’ the line electronic jewelery cleaner for a case of mouthwash?
|||Thanks Brian, I too have killed a few atomizers trying to clean, have just about given up on cleaning. Will give this a try.|||I tried with non alcohol mouthwash and it draws alot better and gave better vapor but im unsure of it all because im pretty sure that atomizer was burned up by my gf because it tastes bad like burnt metal… I will try again with another atomizer when i need to clean one||| |||
