I
My e-liq that I ordered a month ago from e-cig got sent back because of customs. They asked me what I wanted to do. I told them to change it all to cartridges. They said they would and I can have it sent by EMS then. Okay…
They told me on their messageboard that they changed them all to cartridges. I asked for a shipping number and they said they would email it to me.
I got the email. They did NOT change it all to cartridges and they sent it via that TWO MONTH shipping!!! Now, if the shelf life of their e-liq is three months and it takes TWO months to get to me, then why the hell do I want it again????
Gawd.
I emailed them about this. Will see if I get an answer.|||mannnn … that blows …
try and get a refund or file with your credit card/paypal and try and get your money back that way. Not receiving the stated/correct product is grounds for a chargeback.
then cook up your own :P|||Good idea and I’m going to go pursue it now. After two months, this stuff is gonna end up in the trash anyway.||| ||| |||I’m wondering why you say two month shipping? Do you mean the regular China Post? That’s more like 2-3 weeks.|||Awww..gawd.
I gotta splain again. Should have done that in the originating post.
Please read my thread over at e-cig.com. They are the ones who say that China Post Parcel takes two months.

According to the email I received, that’s how it was sent.
ETA: I have another package out there via China Post Parcel that has been out for a month. It’s not liquid, so I didn’t have it shipped EMS.|||Karen, I have read elsewhere about a year’s life for E-Liquid, but I don’t understand the problem. Over on pipe forums, I read about setting aside quality pipe tobacco at home to let it age for years, sometimes a decade or more. It’s like fine wine. It just gets better and better. So, obviously, the nicotine doesn’t somehow evaporate over time. Tobacco is stored in steady-state humidity and temperature, but not in a refrigerator. E-Liquid is mostly propylene glycol, some extracts of tobacco and/or other flavors, water and some glycerine. I’m not sure what in there has a time limit for use. If anyone knows, please let us all know. I would think E-Liquid could be stored for a looong time in a refrigerator (and I trust liquids made months ago more than the ones being made today, for safety assurance reasons — people haven’t dropped dead using it so it’s probably not an instant poison!).|||T-Bob, I think I’m referring more to "taste". After all the PG and (holy crap!) cart filler threads I’ve been reading lately, poison is the last thing I wanna lament about. I just wanna "vape" while I can and enjoy it.
But we do have a few complaints about flavor. Bottle plastic taste, etc. And frankly, some of my last e-cig liquid was a little funky in flavor. I have a 30 ml flue cured I bought from Jane that came from e-cig. I also have a bottle that I bought from e-cig. But the e-cig one tastes a little off. I’m all about enjoying my e-cig. Sure, e-cigs don’t taste exactly like cigarettes….but dangit, I want it to taste good! For good measure, I bought a bunch of the glass dropper bottles from ebay…and just bought 24 more.
I envisioned my package traveling for two months sitting in extreme temperatures…and then by the time it got to me, it taste like shoe leather. It’s summer. I wouldn’t have chocolate sent to me on a slow boat from friends in Germany right now! If I want to enjoy it, I pay the bigger price to get it here faster. And that’s what I did when I bought these products from e-cig.com.
For what it’s worth, I don’t wanna go crazy about the health issues until there is good reason to. So I continue to read the health forum and chime in when I can. But I haven’t stopped using the devices. I figured I had smoked real cigarettes for over 20 years. This can’t be any worse.
To make a LONG story short about my original post: I WANT what I paid for.
|||e-cig are at the mercy of Olympic games customs vagaries and t-rrorist hysteria.. so must i be note i wont even use the bloody T word.. my "china post registrated parcel" to quote e-cig took two weeks to arrives.. it was the liquid and batteries out of my pipe order..
now liquid or not airplanes had to be involved in this.. two months is the slow boat trip..
trogI got the email. I got the slow boat.
And you are right…no matter what we’re ordering from e-cig…doesn’t matter, a lanyard…wait til after the olympics, period.
