USB from E-cig.com

Posted in E-Cigarette Reviews by Electronic Cigarette on the October 31st, 2008

I have just tested the usb for from e-cig.com ..all I can say IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!!…… :P

Compatible with Njoy (should be compatible also with sedansa since the can be inter-swapped)…

Very convenient to use and does great job of providing continuous power and no sensor kind of crap which cuts into your uptake like 10-15 puff per minute cutoff point.

Comes highly recommended for those who wants perfect power supply (but at the cost of mobility). I paid USD16 for it and I can say it worth it…. |||Thats awesome, I was just going to make one myself, but since you say that it is compatible with the Njoy atomizers… I may just have to order one.. Thanks Jimldk…||| |||What are the odds of overheating and out your this way? Been one of my thoughts and concerns since I first heard of usb power for ecigs. Thinking maybe the cut off point is to prevent from overheating as well as simulating that you’ve smoked enough to be equivalent to a normal cig. Please keep us posted on how it stays working. Again, thank you for the .||| |||Normal usage drop by 50% and so is the need to recharge…perfect!!

I Realised there is a certain angle the wire dangling at the end of the light led tip will affect your burn…proper angles gets better results and consistent(maybe my one has a loose fitting inside? ..but what the heck :P ..it works wonderfully well)

So far my atomiser works wonderfully well..more worried about getting electric shocks then the atomiser though.. |||any shocks would be nothing to worry about.. 12v max on usb i believe. That would feel interesting, but wouldn’t be fatal in any way. kind of like sticking your tongue on a 9v .

Most batteries have what? 3.7v coming from them… when your using USB power, most likely using the 5v line instead of the 12v, I would think the 12v would damage your cirucuitry for sure. So, your supplying a constant 5v VS the 3.7v which will start to drop even from the first puff. I’m sure the vapor is increased quite a bit just from having the constant 5v. Since I love to tinker, I’ll make my own. If you don’t see any more posts from me, that means I shorted out my computer…lol |||It should be regulated and probably is.
