I know that they give us a list of what to bring and what not, but what should I REALLY bring? What will I REALLY need?

You'll really need what's on the list. What ever else you need they'll tell you what it is and take you to the BX to buy it.

marriage certificate

spouse's and children's birth certificate(s)

divorce decree (of both husband and wife)

court decrees for alimony/child support

small Bible, Holy Scripture or other religious articles (if desired)

prescription or reading glasses or contact lens kit (no prescription sunglasses)

prescribed medications

civilian medical records if you have any medical condition that requires treatment

college transcripts

certificate of entry (for immigrant alien recruits)

Women should arrive in conservative, comfortable slacks or jeans and shirt. No tank tops, halter tops or short-shorts are permitted. Women are also required to bring these items:

6 white bras (standard white cotton — two should be athletic support)

6 panties (white cotton)

sanitary items (as required)

2 white half-slips

2 pairs of pantyhose or stockings (skin tone)

shampoo (in small plastic container)

a copy of PAP smear if one was performed six months prior to ship date

If currently using birth control pills, bring the pills and a copy of exam records specifying the type(s) of birth control pills both currently and previously prescribed.

Male recruits should report wearing appropriate civilian clothing. All recruits may bring:

maximum of $25 in cash

light sweater or jacket (recommended in winter months)

postage stamps

Recruits - Do not bring:

food, candy, chewing gum or alcoholic beverages;

cigarettes or other tobacco products;

sharp objects, scissors, fingernail files or manicure kits;

lighter fluid, non-disposable lighters, matches, aerosol cans, perfumes, colognes, liquid shoe polish or any articles in glass containers;

radios, books, tape recorders, non-prescription or prescription sunglasses, musical instruments, sports equipment or cameras;

firearms, explosives, ammunition, knives or weapons of any kind;

calculators or electronic games;

lewd or obscene photographs or literature;

cards or dice;

non-prescription medicine, drugs or vitamins;

low-cut or two-piece swimsuits;

illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia;

Jewelry (except for a small religious medal, wedding and/or engagement ring and a conventional, conservative watch). While in uniform you're not allowed to wear any other jewelry.

I'm traveling in a couple of days. I know some planes has power outlets that I can plug in. With the news rules and all, am I allowed to bring my laptop adapter with my carry-on or do I have to keep it in my luggage?

I use American Airlines which has the "cigarette-lighter" style plugs. I bought a power inverter, and use my laptop charger almost everytime I fly.

Be sure to check with your airline so you know what type of plug they have, and whether the aircraft you'll be flying on has power plugs installed.

The TSA requires that you remove your laptop from your carryon and put it in a bin at the security checkpoint, so be prepared for that. Below is a link to the TSA page on electronic equipment if you want further information.

White phosphorous is made up of 4 atoms of tetrahedral; mercury is a heavy, silver-white, highly toxic metallic element, the only one that is liquid at room temperature; quicksilver: used in barometers, thermometers, pesticides.

For starters you could use alcohol in your thermometers. It expands less evenly than mercury but this can be solved by adjusting the scale. It also has the advantage of freezing at a lower temperature and so can be used to measure lower temperatures that a mercury thermometer.

You could also use an electronic thermometer sensor which has the potential to be far more accurate.

Phosphorous I would just burn. It ignites pretty easy, which is why its used at the end of matches to start them going. Again this could be replaced by a cigarette lighter which uses a flint and gas and probably a bit safer in terms of fire risk.

My uncle smoke for many years which brought him bad health condition. I really very very love him, so I try to find good ways to help him. Ruyan e-cigarette is ok?

You can't stop people from smoking, but you can discourage them with education, ads, and taxes, which are very effective at making cigarettes too expensive for teens.

In my opinion, the best way to sto ppeople from dying of lung cancer is to replace cigarettes with e cigarettes, which contain no tobacco but provide nicotine.

As to why, well, people start smoking out of curiosity, find once they've gotten the hang of it that it's a pleasurable drug, and then get addicted and feel bad when they can't smoke.

It is a DPFE sensor (Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor) , and the sensor is at the top of the engine, near the EGR valve. it is about half the size of a pack of cigarettes, made of aluminum, and has a connector with three wires at the front of the sensor. If you look closely at the bottom of the sensor, you will see two small hoses that connect at the sensor and run down to the exhaust pipe. Chances are that the hose(s) either rotted from the heat, or have been disconnected accidentally during maintenance or repair. It is best to replace the damaged hose(s) with heat safe hose like silicone hose, or go to Ford for the correct material. Regular vacuum hose or fuel hose can't stand up to the heat.

If the hoses are good and in place, inspect to determine that both hose nipples at the exhaust pipe are clear and unrestricted. You can use a piece of coat hanger wire for this.

If all of the connections, hoses and tubes are in good order, you most likely will need to replace the DPFE sensor. You must get it from Ford, as NONE of the after-market parts stores even know what it is, never mind have access to it. You can expect to pay ~ $80.00 to $120.00, and might have to order it.

I really want to quit smoking and I have tried everything… almost. Many of my friends have had success quitting with Chantix, a prescription that they got from their doctor. Here's the problem, my doctor doesn't know I smoke and I'm afraid to tell her to ask for the prescription because she is a really close family friend.

Are there any other ways to get it?

Go to another GP, any doctor can issue a prescription.

But you know whats more effective than Champix. Try using this new product called the Electronic Cigarette.

It's a electronic device that imitates a real cigarette but mitigates the risk. All it delivers in nicotine, so its not a tobacco product. It even releases a "smoke like" vapour. It's not smoke because it doesn't burn anything.

Hard to explain in words, you gotta have to preview it on the net. Search electronic cigarette. I bought mine on EBAY. It's kept me off smokes since the new year. It's like a miracle cure.

I am pregnant, I quit smoking cold turkey, But now strugling so much Im starting to get gittery and stressing over it. I am also getting depressed and i think it might have something to do with me not smoking, crazy cravings. did well at first but not so much anymore. Isnt 5 and lower better then being stressed over that and other things?
