It’s called the "E-Cig", or electronic cigarette. It’s maker’s say it’s safe because there’s no tobacco, tar, and what you breath in and blow out is not actually smoke.

It’s about the size of a pen, and is made of plastic and metal. It’s battery charged and these tiny white cartridges supply enough nicotine for up to two packs of cigarettes.

None of our testers say they were able to extinguish their cigarettes completely, but they did say it helped them cut down, substituting the E-Cig for the ones.

Our testers also say liked how they could get a nicotine fix inside public places.

Dr. Deanna Lites, 7News.|||Unfortunately I did not have very good results with Crown7. The smoke was inconsistent and I sent mine back. Later I found out that Crown7 purchases directly from e-cig.com.

They should have tried a Janty or NJOY. They would have had better results.

So after the looking over the different type of e-cigs in pen style I’ve come to a conclusion. There are so many cons and pros to the different companies and types. After looking over my pending purchase at RuyanXpress.com i came realize that ruyanxpress.com doesn’t sell Ruyan but, Janty’s . Which was really weird and also Janty is the only company that gives you a case for your Janty pen style with your purchase . And after that i realized Ruyan company only offers one flavor in cart. . I’ve also visited a site of a company that offers a cap for the mouthpiece of there pen style…..

God what to do? If I buy this i won’t get that, and if i buy that, i won’t get those, and if i buy these i won’t get that Shiitt! HOW AGGRAVATING!!

DREAM E-CIG:
My dream e-cig would be a:
Ruyan Classic V8 black w/black case and mouthpiece cap
All different types of flavors and high quality Carts. offered
Long lasting battery and high quality product with lifetime guarantee
and great customer service with a company in the U.S.
And eventually this E-cig of my dreams will be legalized by the FDA in America so that I can one day stop by a gas station, liquor store, or grocery to get refills on carts.
BUT THATS JUST A DREAM…DAMMIT!!!

CONCLUSION:
I came up with an idea maybe you guys can give me an opinion on it??
I’m thinking about buying the Ruyan V8 classic pen style and then buying the case from janty at Ruyanxpress.com but i don’t know if the Ruyan will fit in there or not. And about the problem of the variates of flavors Ruyan offers I’m thinking about buying e-liquid to make it up but i never used it before, so as far as taste go i don’t know were to get it best or even how to use the e-liquid..

Please HELP DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
GIVE SOME OPINIONS PLEASE|||I’d suggest going for the K.I.S.S. Box. The previous Janty models are well reviewed, and they seem to have gone to considerable effort to re-engineer their new model. The added versatility of choosing manuaal or auto switches, the USB charge option, and the promised longer lasting batteries and cartridges make the slightly higher price worthwhile, IMO.

Failing that, I’d suggest trying to get whichever model you choose from a seller in your own country, or region. ALL models and manufacturers have a high failure rate; a good seller will allow you to keep sending them back until you get a good one.

N’Joy and Crown7 send you a new part or unit along with a return envelope, so you can still uyse the old one if it’s functional. I get my new atomizer and batteries on Monday from Crown7, so I can attest that they are happy to help.

I will do some reviews for you when i have time as i have alot of different E-cigarette samples from different factories.
Btw the e-cigarette im selling is still the best mini size available!

I dont know what i did to it but its working so good now.
Its actully producing more smoke then a normal ciggy and giving me the burning sensation i get from a ciggy!

Thanks for the info. OI have tried dry smoking the liquid and it certainly smokes a lot but the flavour and kick are less than the cartridges. Hopefully someone will come up with a better product. This new smoking method is developing so fast that I’m sure in a few years it will be perfected and will replace cigarettes altogether. I quit smoking a year ago and missed the whole process even 9 months later so I made a consious decision to take up nicotine usage again when I bought my first e-cig and life has improved.
The mini looks too much like a cigarette for my liking. Roll on the day we can buy these in Tescos!! |||Just saying hi and introducing myself. I am a longtime pipe smoker, and now a "smoker" of the e-pipe for a few weeks now. (Although this is the E-Cigarette Forum, I’m assuming it’s also O.K. to discuss e-pipes and e-cigars!) I still smoke "real" pipes–and don’t intend to quit altogether–but since I have had the e-pipe I have reduced my real smoking dramatically from an average of 3-4 pipefuls a day to 1 pipeful on a typical day. (The 3-4 pipefuls was already a significant decrease from the amount I was smoking up until a couple years ago. I was probably smoking at least 8 pipes throughout a typical day. I decided to cut back and started doing so. Then, maybe 9 months ago, I cut back even further when I discovered snus and worked that into my routine as a substitute for some of the smoking.)

In other parts of the forum, I’ll post a little more about my experience with, especially, the Ruyan e-pipe and Camel Snus. Both items I have found to be very satisfying substitutes for smoking tobacco. I really love the fact that these alternatives let me get the nicotine and flavor I enjoy (and I do enjoy my nicotine, dammit!) in ways that are probably less harmful to my health and in places where traditional smoking is off limits.

E-smoking is a great invention, and I truly hope it catches on. I want to see these products readily available everywhere and so common that no one freaks out when they see you puffing away somewhere that you’re not supposed to "smoke." 8-)|||Good to discover my own experience isn’t exactly unique. The choice of James Dean by SmokyJoe is dead-on, since this idol from my teen years helped prompt my start on cigarettes. Steve McQueen didn’t exactly discourage my habit, either. And everywhere I looked, on the big screen or TV, the stars were smoking. So I began back in the Fifties.

I’ve tried to quit many times and have smoked a pipe periodically since college. But cigarettes were doing the damage, so, after carotid artery surgery for 95% blockage, I went off cigarettes. Tried the gum, patch, lozenge, nasal spray, inhaler, nasal snuff, chewing tobacco, hypnosis and $400 shots in the shoulder and head that were supposed to make me never want another cigarette (wrong). I did the entire Chantix course, with no effect. Went to cigars and loved them but the cost was outta sight!

So I switched to pipes and discovered Swedish snus at the same time. Great combination. Now I’ve added the E-Pipe and am just beginning to incorporate it into my daily routine. I hope it can help INDOORS since my workplace and virtually all public places in Florida are smoke-free. I want to use the E-Pipe in these environs (but expect to be looked at like someone with a realistic toy gun in a public building).

I’m a believer in harm reduction for addicts. And, make no mistake, I’m a nicotine addict. Fifty years of hitting it about 30 times a day. I’ve been off my tubular fixes for six months now. And I still want one when I awaken each day and when I finish supper each evening. Maybe the urges will never go away.

I’ll keep coming back to this forum and promise to post some observations on the E-Pipe as I use it more. In the meantime, I can recommend snus and Java-flavored Stonewall hard snuff. If you must smoke, try Dean’s Lil Cigars bought on the Internet for less than $10 a carton. Same taste and hit as cigarettes without the tax penalty.|||These e-pipes seem to be getting good reviews.
I can image they work much better then the cigarettes because of the size of them.
I mean how big is the atominizer in the e-pipe?

Very interesting stuff on the e-pipe - I fancy that might be my next purchase, especially with such a good battery longevity and the increase in "smoke."

So far the biggest drawback has been the quantity of smoke - I can’t seem to get any real consistency. Sometimes it smokes real good, other times it is a bit pathetic - but this may be because I own a lower-quality device. The next biggest drawback is definitely the weight of the thing - I only hope that the batteries do get lighter because I’m beginning to get quite an achy jaw!

I read somewhere that the increase in battery power and technology closely follows Moore’s law. Ie, every 18 months, the capacity roughly doubles. In other words I would expect the more expensive devices to get lighter pretty quickly. Here’s hoping anyway!

Oh, and I’m sorry if the website has been running a bit slowly - I have contacted the webhost and they are sorting it out right now.

Hey there people,

I am so glad that there is forum deticated to the e-cigarettes!!!
So I am waiting my v9 mini cigarette arriving next week. I am currently on the nitocotine gum (which I hate) but I miss the physical side of smoking!
I live in the UK and I am really surprised that the e-cigarette is not more famous here!!! I would have thought that for a nation thats so much against smoking devices like these will be more sought after.

Anyway’s I just wanted to say hi!!

But I am one day into e-cigs and I can’t compare it against anything except real cigs and the carts my 901 came with.
It’s not the same, but the Marlboro flavour I have is is pretty close in a different way that sadly I can’t explain.
For me it has a hit that the carts that came with my e-cig does not come close to. Particularly if I exhale partly through my nose. However I can’t say the taste excites me but then again I’m finding the real cigs taste viler as I go through the day and the juice is a better option. Although as I wrote on another thread I’m missing something both ways - I just don’t know what that is.

Maybe in a few days time I will really like it allround. For now I am just pleased my hubby and I are down to 3/4 real cigs a day without any effort & we are both heavy smokers. I am going to credit the juice for that as the carts would have had me reaching for real cigs much more often.

36mg juice is good enough that that I am going to order other flavours very soon from Pillbox.

But ever the optimist I just wrote her a note & asked if there is a lot of paperwork involved to the UK specifically.

Has anyone heard of a liquid that has no flavor added? Just curious. I would be very interested in trying that.|||I remember seeing some, but i cant remember if it was a cart or fluid.

I prefer regular. I am not a heavy smoker. I like regular tasting a little sweet.

I found the Smart Fixx site and I was wondering about the mini cigarette they offer.Thanks.|||Yeah, I had the regular cigarette originally, then I got the mini-cig when it came out and it works great.|||I have been using smart fixx for 2 months now. It works great and have stop using my regular cigarettes.

what do you guys think is the best e cig on the market between that price range. I already have a kissbox but wanna try a new one. CHEERS|||a generic from pillbox ebay is as goods as any.. a 901 or classic.. the carts are a bit small on the super minis..

But these also have their failures to like any other brand but nothing is perfect regarding electronic cigarettes at this present time.

My bling gives good vapour and tastes great with Janty and diy juice, I don’t like the Ruyan cartridge taste. It’s great value for money in my opinion but it is chunkier than an ecig and is covered with Ruyan advertising (although it’s in Chinese and looks a bit arty).

I know many of us keep constant e puffing with our e cig.

so surely there will a stop point well , that is enough for the smoking break.

so how you know ?or even count many how puffs u take

and stop e smoke for awhile .continue your daily stuffs

than come the next smoking break and smoke.|||I’m using high cartridges on my mini-e-cig, and i’m satisfied during the day with 2-3 heavy puffs every now and then. I had this 1 hour rule between cigarettes, so i’m applaying it to e-cig too.

When the cartridge is drying i take only a puff every now and them, giving the scarce liquid time to moist the atomizer, this because i believed the instructions about a cartridge being equal to a pack of cigarettes so i decided to use a cartridge a day. This was the last week, my first week as an e-smoker. Now i found this forum and i ordered a refill bottle, and i’m going faster through my 50 cartridges stash.

Problems come when i’m sit (after the coffee, browsing) as i would like to puff like with a real cigarette, so like 10 puffs. I hope refilling and dripping will help.|||buby … your self control, astounds me …
